Ugwumba Uche Nwosu felicitates with the good people of Mbaise on 2021 Iri-ji festival

As Mbaise Nation marks their 2021 New Yam Festival , Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has joined the global Community to felicitate with Mbaise Nation .

Chief Nwosu who is a title holder in Mbaise Nation also used the medium to commend the good people of Mbaise for their love and support towards him , maintaining that it is not what he will ever take for granted .
He called on the people of Mbaise to continue to work towards the development of the Society , noting that their love for each other no matter the ancestral background is worthy of emulation .

Ugwumba Ohanile of Mbaise used the opportunity to pray for the people of Mbaise Nation for God to grant them successful 2021 New Yam Festival.

He commended them for holding strong to this culture that brings people together, noting that People without culture is no people.

On this , he called on other Igbo Communities not to allow their culture and tradition to fade away as that will amount to extinction of traditional identity .

Typically, New Yam Festival provides a heritage of dances, feasting, renewal of kinship alliances, as well as marks the end of one agricultural season with a harvest to express gratitude and thanksgiving to the society, God, friends and relations.
