Lawmakers in the Abia State House of Assembly on Tuesday impeached the speaker Chinedum Orji. 18 out of 27 members carried out the impeachment at an undisclosed location. The impeachment was reportedly moved by Chukwudi Apugo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who represents Umuahia-East.
