-Says choice of Onyeriri as running mate masterstroke
A grassroots mobilizer and former Leader of Orlu Legislative Assembly, Rt.Hon Gozie Nwagba has commended the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Senator Samuel Anyanwu for choosing Hon Jones Onyereiri as running mate adding that the choice of Onyereiri is a masterstroke that will collapse the entire Orlu Senatorial zone for the PDP.
Nwagba who described Jones Onyereiri as the new face of decent and robust politics expressed optism that with the former lawmakers clout, political reach and goodwill, the November, 11, Imo governorship election will be nothing but a walk over for Samdaddy and the PDP.
He said, ‘’Senator Anyanwu could not have made a better choice. Hon Jones Onyereiri who represented Isu, Njaba,Nkwerre, Nwangele Federal constituency at the Federal House of Representatives is a political giant whose enormous goodwill, support and acceptance cuts across the entire Orlu zone because there is hardly a community where his impact has not been felt positively.
‘’Much as I have tremendous respect for Hon Jerry Alagboso, the recent statement he was quoted to have made is not only disappointing but also leaves a very sour taste. Though he is entitled to his opinion, I hope and believe that in no distant time, he will come to terms with reality that Anyanwu remains the best and act accordingly, else the moving train will leave him behind’’.
