HISTORY OF REFINERIES ESTABLISHMENT IN NIGERIA AND WHY NIGERIANS MUST KEEP PDP ATIKU AND APC TINUBU AWAY FROM ASO ROCK AFTER BUHARI

Posted on August 30, 2022 By thTV Admin, Owerri No Comments on HISTORY OF REFINERIES ESTABLISHMENT IN NIGERIA AND WHY NIGERIANS MUST KEEP PDP ATIKU AND APC TINUBU AWAY FROM ASO ROCK AFTER BUHARI

Are you aware that Nigeria has four existing refineries, with combined capacities to process and refine 445,000 barrels of crude oil per day, located in Kaduna, Warri, and Port Harcourt respectively?

✍️Are you also aware that the first Nigeria REFINERY in Port Harcourt at Alesa Emese was built in under 2 years ( from 1963 to 1965 by Shell and British Petroleums. Tafawa Balewa was Prime Minister then.

✍️He also built Kainji Power Project that gives us 1000mw of electricity. All these projects in under 6 years.

✍️Are you aware that the Warri and Kaduna refineries ( with combined refining capacities of over 200, 000 barrels per day, were each built in under 3 years ) ?

✍️In fact, actual construction works on these two refineries commenced in quick succession in 1975 and 1976.

✍️Snamprogetti Spa Milan from Italy was awarded the Warri refinery project by the late general Yakubu Gowon in 1975, and the refinery became operational in 1978 (under three years, construction started , completed and the refineries became operational).

✍️Under the government of Murtala Mohammed, Chiyoda Engineering and Construction Company from Japan was given license to build the Kaduna refinery. It was completed in 1979 by former general Olusegun Obasanjo.( 1976 to 1979.. three years).

✍️Are you aware that under former President Ibrahim Babangida, the refining capacities of the Port Harcourt and Warri, refineries were increased by additional 150,000 barrels per day from 1985 to 1989 (Within a space of 4 years)…

✍️Babangida also built the third mainland Bridge ( the longest in West Africa… over 11km in under 6 years)…. ( 1.6km Second Niger Bridge has been on since 2013, with no completion date in sight)

✍️For almost 23 years now, the very selfish, swapping and swerving political bandits in this Nigeria 4th Republic, have not been able to repair and fix these refineries that were built from the scratch to completion in under 3 years… those, who built those refineries are alive and not dead.

✍️Going by the provisions of the proposed Federal Government of Nigeria 2023 budget, the APC government of Buhari has no plan to make the refineries work or to stop the massive crude oil theft. This is the same refineries that they used to misappropriate over N100bn in 2021 without refining a drop of any white petroleum products.

✍️This is amplified and evidenced by their pegging of the benchmark daily crude oil output to 1.6million barrels a day ( way short of the 2.46million barrels a day in May 2015, when Buhari took over from Jonathan ). They are also planning to borrow an outrageously criminal N6.7trillion/$15billion for pms subsidies .

✍️A further review of the summary of the 2023 budget proposal of the Buhari led APC FGN, shows clearly that these guys are hell bent on totally burying this country before leaving office

✍️Nigerians must be wise … Any vote for APC or PDP in the February 2023 Presidential elections, will amount to a self hating suicidal act…

✍️God help us to throw away every primordial and self destructing ethnic and religious sentiment and vote out this human cankerworms and plagues before it is late …

✍️We cannot continue to recycle this same gerentocrats, who have been part of the rot since 1999 and expect any good outcome … we are dealing with a extremely rotten and compromised system that must be totally uprooted.
